Newcastle Falcons have announced a new long-term partnership with leading sport apparel and teamwear specialist, Macron replacing their current suppliers ISC.

The agreement will see the two working together until 2024 and sees the Italian brand also teaming up with Newcastle Thunder rugby league club.

Ross Cook, Macron’s sports marketing manager and former Newcastle Falcons player, said: “It is a true privilege to be working with such an amazing club which has a special place in my heart, having had the honour to pull on the Falcons jersey many moons ago.

“This club and the North East in general is a hotbed for rugby talent, and the club’s strategy to help support and grow this talent fits in perfectly with Macron’s ideals.

“We have worked hand in hand with the club to create a bespoke kit which we hope the fans will love. We know that this season has been tough, yet, like the falcons from the flame, the club shall rise again, and together we can do great things.”

Mick Hogan, executive director of Newcastle Falcons, said: “It’s fantastic news that a well-known and respected rugby brand like Macron are buying into the long-term vision that we have for the club, and that they want to be part of it.

“Their proven track record of supplying quality kit for teams and supporters of both club and national teams is there for all to see, and we look forward to a long and mutually-beneficial partnership.”
