    The Scarlets have have avoided a winding up petition over an unpaid tax bill issued by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.     The Scarlets have announced that Simon Easterby will be their new head coach for the forthcoming season. The former Ireland international had served as defence coach for the welsh region for two years, having played 201 games for Llanelli and the Scarlets since making his debut in 1999.     News of an agreement between Scarlets and kit supplier Macron comes to us from Macron’s UK law firm, south-Wales based JCP Solicitors.   • Scarlets’ Losses More Than Double

    The Scarlets have revealed that they made a pre-tax loss of £1.75 million in the year ending 30 June 2014 – more than double the loss the region made the previous year.
