Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have received a blow in their bid to move into a new stadium. A decision on the proposed development of Newmarket Stadium in the Wakefield suburb of Stanley, orginally scheduled for June 19, has been delayed. The Wildcats aim to become the anchor tenants of what is planned to be a new community stadium. Wakefield could not explain to Running Rugby the reason for the stalling of the process.
