    Gloucester Rugby have purchased 5 Kingsholm Road, the former site of a car dealership, which is adjacent to the east end of their Kingsholm ground. The plot of land, approximately one third of an acre, is adjacent to their stadium and recently became available for purchase. Due to its location and development potential, the club have moved quickly to agree a deal to purchase the site.     Gloucester Rugby’s Kingsholm stadium has suffered around half a million pounds of damage in the recent wet weather reports Gloucestershire Live.     Gloucester Rugby have confirmed that they are set to invest up to £1m in a new playing surface at Kingsholm. After extensive research, the club have decided to install a state of the art 'HERO' hybrid surface in conjunction with County Turf of Lincolnshire at the end of this season.
