The Anglo-Welsh Cup Final will be held at Gloucester Rugby's Kingsholm Stadium (capacity 16,115) for the first time on Sunday March 18.

In doing so the famous stadium becomes the sixth different venue to host the showpiece, with Leicester Tigers beating Exeter Chiefs in last season's final.

Although this season is the first time Gloucester Rugby are hosting the final, the Cherry & Whites have a proud history in the Anglo-Welsh Cup having lifted the trophy five times.

"We're delighted to be hosting this season's Anglo-Welsh Cup Final at Kingsholm and it should be a memorable occasion for all involved," said Gloucester Rugby CEO Stephen Vaughan.

"There are very few better places to watch rugby than Kingsholm and Gloucester is a rugby-mad place so I hope to see a packed-out stadium on March 18.

"Our fans are very vocal and passionate and fingers crossed they will have a team in Cherry & White to cheer on the day."
