England RL Host Kiwis In Three Tests Next Autumn

The RFL has announced that England will host New Zealand in a three match test series in autumn 2018.

England will face the Kiwis for the first time since the narrow 16-17 loss in front of a sell-out crowd in the Four Nations 12 months ago and will be hoping for a repeat of the 2015 series, when Sean O’Loughlin led the team to a 2-1 series win.

The opening game of the series will take place at the KCOM Stadium in Hull on Saturday, October 27 (14:30) then go to Anfield in Liverpool for the second test on Saturday, November 3 (14:30). The series will conclude on Sunday, November 11 (15:00) at Elland Road in Leeds.

Elland Road hasn’t hosted international rugby league since the 2011 Four Nations final between England and Australia.

Tickets for all three games are on sale now at rugby-league.com and cost from £25 for adults and £12.50 for concessions. ‘Our League’ members will get £5 off all ticket categories when purchased through the Our League App or website.

Rugby Football League chief executive, Nigel Wood, said: “With the eyes of the nation firmly fixed on England’s progress in the World Cup we are delighted to announce that international Rugby League is returning to home soil in 2018.
